What is the
Job Marston Centre?
The Job Marston Centre is a charity run by a board of trustees.
Our Vision
A welcoming, responsive, community hub at the heart of Hall Green.

Our Mission
To respond creatively and compassionately to the needs of local residents.

How do we achieve this?
The Trustees, all volunteers, enable the Centre to provide accommodation and services in four ways:
-
To make the premises available for a wide range of uses by the public, for example, a Child Contact Centre; recreational activities such as folk dancing and painting; and a play group.
-
To run services for the improvement of the lives of those in the community. These include a Job Club, Money Adviser, Food bank, and Place of Welcome.
-
To host events independently and with partners.
-
To provide a venue for private functions such as family celebrations.

Our Values
Respect
We value the strengths and abilities of each person and who they are as a person. We show courtesy to everyone. We maintain relationships and respect confidentiality. We uphold professional boundaries and we look after our shared resources and property.

Integrity
We value honesty and being straightforward and genuine in all our interactions with people. We will treat every person with dignity and respect. We will be sensitive to diversity and difference. We promote positive working relationships.

Cooperation
We value the opportunity to work together toward a common goal and a common purpose for the good of the community of Hall Green. We look for opportunities to work collaboratively and in partnership with existing organisations and the local parish church to serve the needs of our community. We listen to the community, other organisations, and each other.
