What Can Be Donated to the Foodbank?

If you're wondering what the best thing to donate to the foodbank is, read on......

Items needed by your foodbank

We give clients nutritionally balanced bags of food to last approximately three days together with the occasional treat such as biscuits or a cake. The bags are packed at the Sparkhill Foodbank warehouse in Tyseley and then stored at the Job Marston Centre so all food must be non-perishable. Unfortunately we can't store food that must be refrigerated or frozen.

We also invite clients to choose from a range of toiletries and cleaning products.

The full list is below but if we receive items not on the list, for example stock cubes, ketchup, flour, we make these available for clients to choose from as they need so nothing still edible is thrown away.
